Curriculum

At Remuera Discovery Express we plan for individual child’s interests, dispositions & development.  Our planning is focused on each child where we work in partnership with parents, to achieve the best learning outcomes.  We focus on the natural way children learn, their participation, environment and how we as teachers help and support each child's learning.

We also focus on emergent planning which is driven from a group of children’s interests.  There may be 2 or 3 groups of children's emergent planning taking place at the same time.

We document children’s learning and we encourage parents’ participation in our programme.  We believe in offering a quality programme for each child.
